Roth provides emergency aid for flood victims

Value cheque when installing a new tank system / Roth heating oil systems stand up to high water pressure and buoyancy

The floods of recent weeks have once again destroyed numerous heating oil tank systems in the flooded areas of Germany. Roth Werke is providing unbureaucratic support to those affected with €150 in emergency aid for the installation of a Roth tank system for heating oil storage.

"The masses of water have once again caused major damage," says Christin Roth-Jäger, Managing Director of Roth Werke, emphasising the challenges that many affected homeowners in the flooded areas are now facing: "There is a lot to do - that's why we want to help in a simple, unbureaucratic way."

As with the disaster in the Ahr Valley in 2021, Roth Werke is supporting the purchase of a new tank system for heating oil storage with a voucher for €150. Building owners simply need to submit a copy of the invoice from the HVAC specialist company, official confirmation of the flood damage and a completed voucher available from Roth - or fill out the corresponding form on the website. "After a quick check, we will then transfer the 150 euros," explains Christin Roth-Jäger. All information about the emergency aid can also be found on the website, https://www.roth-werke.de/hochwasser-soforthilfe.

Roth heating oil tank systems keep

Roth has been in close contact with sanitary, heating and plumbing specialist companies in endangered areas, and not just since the Ahr disaster. Past experience confirms all analyses and tests: the solid standard version of the Roth DWT plus 3 with its stable, fully enclosed steel outer tank can withstand flood pressure up to a water level of 1.15 metres. In conjunction with the Roth anchoring system, the Roth DWT plus 3 is securely anchored in the ground using four lashing straps to prevent buoyancy. The anchoring system can be easily retrofitted to an existing DWT plus 3 container system (general technical approval Z-40.21-364). The DWT plus 3 is therefore an economical solution for use in areas at risk of flooding, as no structural reinforcements to the tank are required. The accessory is designed for tanks with a nominal capacity of 750 litres and 1000 litres in row installation up to a maximum of five tanks as well as for simple L-installation up to seven tanks.
