Wish for peace

Wish for peace - opening of the Eckelshausen Music Days in the Manfred Roth Atrium.
On 11 and 12 May 2024, the 33rd Eckelshausen Music Days will kick off in the Roth Werke company atrium under the motto "Dona Nobis Pacem", give us peace. 

This year's chamber music festival on the upper Lahn will open with two concerts by the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra. The festival is under the artistic direction of Julius Berger.

On Saturday, the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Chungki Min, will perform works by Claude Debussy, Markus Schmitt, Gustav Mahler, Paul Hindemith and Arnold Schönberg on the theme "Before Your Throne I Come".

On Sunday, visitors can look forward to a concert on "May flowers bloomed everywhere". The Southwest German Chamber Orchestra will perform music by Gustav Holst, Béla Bartók, Alexander von Zemlinsky and Edvard Grieg with the participation of soprano Judith Janzen.
